Fireye has offered the ABB ACS550 in a packaged variety with disconnects and optional bypass contactors for some time, and will continue to do so. A new option is to purchase these VFDs unpackaged for use with any VFD application. In addition to the standard combustion air application, VFDs can be seen in the boiler room on pumping applications as well as air-moving applications.
