Industrial Flame Monitoring
If a pilot fires, and flame is lit, and there is no one there to see it does it in fact exist? It does if it is being overseen by an Industrial Flame Monitoring system. These systems are put into place to keep an eye on the industrial burner flames to verify that all systems are firing as planned and to prevent any costly mishaps. They use UV (ultraviolet) and IR (infrared) sensors to detect the flame and contain rugged signal processors, making them suitable for harsh industrial environments.
