Fireye introduces the new BurnerLogiX Flame Safeguard with valve proving and low gas pressure functionality which enhances safety and efficiency. As the controls and automation industry continuously evolves to continuously improve safety and efficiency, Fireye, a trusted name in combustion control solutions, continues to lead the way with its innovative products. Today, they are set to introduce an upgraded version of its highly successful BurnerLogiX flame safeguard, incorporating two groundbreaking features of valve proving and low gas pressure functionality.
Over 30 years ago, Fireye introduced the Flame-Monitor burner control. Since that time, Fireye engineers have made many refinements and put those into the newer standard, the BurnerLogiX flame safeguard. Following updated agency certifications and requirements for market demands, Fireye continues to make more reliable, safe and efficient burner controls, up to and in excess of 2.5 MMBtu heat input.
Traditionally, ensuring the integrity of main fuel valves required complex setups, involving block and vent valves, as well as long vent pipe runs to the atmosphere. Firey’s BurnerLogiX Valve Proving simplifies this process significantly. By eliminating the need for extensive venting, the new functionality not only enhances safety but also reduces costs and increases convenience for installers. The addition of Low Gas Pressure input allows the control system to monitor gas pressure effectively. By setting specific parameters, the control can trigger alarms or initiate lockouts if gas pressure exceeds the safe limits. This feature adds an extra layer of safety, ensuring smooth operations and preventing potential hazards. To complement these advanced functionalities, Fireye introduces the Gen II chassis, clearly marked with "Gen II" on the front and sides. This chassis is compatible with the new Valve Proving and Low Gas Pressure programmers – YP148 & YP184. Distributors, OEMs, and installers now have the opportunity to offer their customers a safer, more cost-effective option that aligns with stringent safety codes, especially in metropolitan areas.
BurnerLogiX primarily safety controls provide full function to basic control for all application needs. BurnerLogiX is a small and compact package filled with big features and huge benefits.
