"Since 1970, Earth Day celebrations have grown. In 1990, Earth Day went global, with 200 million people in over 140 nations participating, according to the Earth Day Network (EDN). Today, the Earth Day Network collaborates with more than 17,000 partners and organizations in 174 countries. According to EDN, more than 1 billion people are involved in Earth Day activities, making it the largest secular civic event in the world."

AQMD Rulle 1147On July 1st, 2014 the Deadline for compliance to the AQMD Rule 1147 came and went, this rule applies to combustion equipment that is using gas or liquid fuels that fall under the scrutiny of SCAQMD. The only other way to get an extension is if your equipment is rated for less than 400,000 btu/hour, if so you will be given five years from the deadline which was July 1, 2014...
