This Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) training class that was presented by the Honeywell Representative, Michael Berney at the George T. Hall Company in Anaheim was interesting and a great experience workshop that helped improve my knowledge of these devices which are manufactured by Honeywell.
By using VFDs you will benefit a great deal by:
- Energy savings
- Reduced wear and tear to the device
Saving energy will benefit the customer with a 3/4 motor speed which will equal 58% of power saved but if you use a 1/2 motor speed will have 85% power saved. The Honeywell SmartVFD is easy to install and program the parameters to your specifications. When finished programming the module, you can then take off the display and install it to another VFD with the same program without repeating your steps for a much quicker setup time. However, VFDs is a much safer and easier to control instead of using a bypass. Click here to learn more about GTH training classes!
